Deb Witzel was so strongly drawn to the power of community-building through theatre that she moved to Colorado in 1991, just to become a member of Playback Theatre West. She has worked in all facets of theatre from stage management and design to writing and directing. She even toured with the Chinese Acrobats of Taiwan. She holds a B.A. in Dance and Drama from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in Non-profit Management from Regis University in Denver. She now dedicates most of her energy to Restorative Justice and working with Teaching Peace.org.
